It  is a means of suggesting or recreating a vision, however fleeting, of a divine truth; and  regards art as a means of experiencing a state of bliss akin to the state of ananda or jivan mukti (release in life.) રાંદલ માતાજીનું પ્રાગટ્ય રાંદલમાતા (અર્થાત્ સંજ્ઞા કે રન્ના દેવી) સૂર્યની પત્ની મનાય છે. રાંદલમાતા એટલે છાયા જે વિશ્વકર્માની પુત્રી પણ મનાય છે. સૂર્યના આવાહન સાથે જ દેવીનું આવાહન કરવામાં આવે છે. રાંદલમાતાનું વાહન ઘોડો છે. રાંદલ માતાજી ભગવાન વિશ્વકર્મા ના પુત્રી રૂપે અવતર્યા હતા. રાંદલ માતાજી જેમ જેમ મોટા થતા ગયા તેમ તેમ ભગવાન સૂર્યનારાયણ ને તેમના પ્રતિ લાગણી થઇ અને તેમની સાથે વિવાહ ની ઈચ્છા થઇ. તેઓએ સીધાજ ભગવાન વિશ્વકર્મા પાસે જઈ ને લગ્ન નો પ્રસ્તાવ મુક્યો, પરંતુ ભગવાન વિશ્વકર્મા એ તેમનો પ્રસ્તાવ સ્વીકાર્યો નહિ, છતાં પણ ભગવાન સૂર્યનારાયણ એ હાર માની નહિ. વિવાહ એક વખત રાંદલ માતાજી ના માતાજી ભગવાન સૂર્યનારાયણ ના ઘરે માટી નું બનેલું પાત્ર માંગવા ગયા, ભગવાન સૂર્યનારાયણ ના માતાજી એ તેઓને માટીનું પાત્ર આપ્યું પણ સાથે એક શરત રાખી કે જો આ પાત્ર તૂટી જશે તો તેઓએ પોતાની પુત્રી ના વિવાહ પોતાના પુત્ર ભગવાન સૂર્યનારાયણ સાથે કરવા પડશે. ભગવાન સૂર્યનારાયણ એ આ શરત નો લાભ લીધો, જયારે રાંદલ માતાજી ના માતાજી પાત્ર લઇ ને ઘોડા પર પોતાના ઘેર જઈ રહ્યા હતા ત્યારે, ભગવાન સૂર્યનારાયણ તેમના રસ્તા માં બ...
